I create images. Not particularly well, but I do them anyway. People pay me.

I've worked for a number of studios, software and gaming companies including Lucas Film and licensing work for DC Comics. Currently I work as a DC Comics artist [When you can find the work] and am a retired full time law enforcement officer - 23 years , GPD Badge 305, and live in central Maine, USA, Earth, SOL, NGC 4414. [Yes you read that right, comic artist-Police Officer - 23 years, go figure.]

Born in Ohio in the early 1960's I crash landed in Maine sometime around 1965. The son of a U.S. Marine turned blacksmith father [Who taught me things when my mom wasn't around] and an anti-war mother [who taught me things when my father wasn't around], my life was started as it was destined, moving in several directions at once, I now have an inherent distrust of the government while at the same time I can punch a hole through the 10 ring at 1000 meters with a .308 Remington 700 SPS firing M118 HPBT rounds. [Courtesy United States Marine Corps, 3 rounds 5 inch group]. Don't worry, I'm stable.

I also have a thing for Tequila, decent cigars, tattoos, German, girls, Rammstein, Precision Distance Shooting, Shakespeare, Venice, Peter Gabriel, Tom Waits and a stunning woman named Phoebe. Not in that order. Figure that trail out for yourselves.

Teddy my beloved golden dog, Rest in Peace.
Howdy, I was excited to learn that my Avengers series made the cover of Movie Pilot dot com. Check it out if you wish.…

Beautiful images you create, let me tell you, but what impressed me more than anything is your bio, you were a cop for 23 years and then took the leap into comics or you have done both in parallel?, if not, and if you dont mind me asking, at what age did you went into comics???

Thank you.

Side by side, and can I just say that walking in two worlds is not the easiest of things. My friends are either artists and musicians or snipers.

What age, as early as I can remember reading., Professionally some 20 years ago, but the vast majority has been in marketing and product imaging.

Your work is NONE too shabby either. [I have a gift for understatement]
